Wealth Without Integrity Will Not Bring Fulfillment

Core Values Are The Foundation To Create True Wealth

Early mornings have a quality of quiet that provoke introspect.

No noise or distraction to hide behind.

No busyness to divert my conscience or dull the emotions.

It’s just me, and my thoughts.

Sipping my coffee in the solitude, my dog, Daisy, is lying at my feet.

I am relaxed and quiet as I focus on life’s decisions and what effect they have on my future.

I take account of myself and pray for direction.

Where am I going in life?

Am I happy?

Am I struggling to find purpose?

Most of all, am I a whole, complete, thriving individual or is there turmoil and a seeking for what’s missing?

I’m contemplating in this vein because I am building an internet business. Success will take away the misery of living from paycheck to paycheck. Money solves everything doesn’t it? Riches will alleviate all my stress!

So I wrestle with how to make money. How will I become wealthy?

I have tried multiple avenues scrutinizing my methods. I simply can’t do what other marketers are doing.

I’ve anguished over the desire to create an online business, not to become the next super affiliate or multi-millionaire, but to simply access the available tools and learn the trade to improve my financial position in life.

How do I reconcile the person I am becoming?

I have to maintain a balance here!

Am I compassionate or self centered?

Do I blame others for my position in life and feel cheated because it seems there is never enough money to pay my bills?

Can I feel empathy for the condition of others, or am I so internalized that all I see are my own needs with no obligation to alleviate the suffering of others?

Am I hyper focused on getting what I want to the point that I lose the sight of relationships and love for family?

I can’t sacrifice my core values, what I believe in and who I want to be, for the sake of the almighty dollar.

Wealth denotes an abundance of valuable possessions or money.

But wealth, in a deeper sense, connotes fullness, richness, amplitude, even a balanced and whole state of being.

I believe that true wealth is not complete unless the soul is wealthy in eternal values.

The Bible says:

“What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:36-37)

The stories are endless of individuals who obtained great monetary wealth to the detriment of their own soul and ended up taking their own lives.

Listed below are just a few current examples of celebrities and millionaires who struggled with fulfillment through wealth and notoriety.

As you can see, the young and old alike fell victim to despair and depression when their monetary wealth and status did nothing to give fulfillment and wealth of the soul.

Miles Beckler, a renowned internet mentor, blogger and affiliate who is a multi-millionaire, teaches the importance of having balance and fulfillment across all aspects of life.

In his Youtube video:

Transform Your Life & Business – The GST System Revealed

Achieving balance for all aspects of your life insures success.

He shares the path of discipline, hard work and the development of all aspects of your life to achieve success and personal fulfillment that transcends merely becoming rich through and online business.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with making money or becoming rich.

Scripture is full of the promises of God to bless and prosper his people, but admonishes them to remember where it comes from.

“You might say in your heart, “The power and strength of my hands have made this wealth for me.” But remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm His covenant that He swore to your fathers even to this day.” (Deuteronomy 8:17-18)

I know it is God’s desire for me to prosper.  It isn’t a sin to strive to provide a comfortable living for my loved ones.  The catch is that I must stay true to the core values of truth, integrity, equity, faithfulness to the Lord, and keep my focus on the Kingdom of God.

I cannot idolize material wealth and make it my primary focus.

But as I seek to do the will of God in my life, I have every blessing of God to apply my efforts to earn a viable income using the skills that He has blessed me with.

My wholeness, my wealth of emotional and spiritual stability, my peace come only from acknowledging and adhering to fulfilling the will of God, and by default, his promises will be appropriated in every area of my life.

I believe core values generate wealth when applied to financial pursuits.

While sitting in the quiet of the early morning, sipping my coffee and contemplating what direction I can take with a pure heart and Godly integrity, I felt that still small voice speaking peace and assurance into my life.

I felt a release in my spirit as I embrace being a child of God.

I can re-align my direction and embrace the right niche. The niche I can, in good conscience pursue whole heartedly.

I have assurance on the deepest level. My motives are in alignment with who I am and want to become.

The synapsis of this post is:

Core values are the foundation to create true wealth.

Wealth is not the ends to a means. It won’t bring you fulfillment in every aspect of your life.

Depression and suicide are prevalent among those with prestige and affluence. Having fame and fortune don’t guarantee happiness.

I must grow and nourish all aspects of my life. Business, social life, spiritual well being and family need balance. This, my friend is being wealthy.
